Tony Sambell is the founder of Spicy Web, a digital marketing agency specialising in custom website design and development, paid media, and search engine optimisation.
Growing up on a 200-acre fish farm near Bundaberg, Tony’s fascination with the wider world began when his family became one of the first in their town to have a computer connected to the internet. That moment sparked a passion for building websites that would eventually lead him to start his own business.
After graduating from CQ University with a Bachelor of Multimedia Studies during the global financial crisis, Tony decided to create his own opportunity and founded Spicy Web from a spare room with the support of the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme.
Today, Tony leads a team dedicated to helping businesses grow by making sure the right customers can find them online. While he is proud of the success of Spicy Web, Tony considers his greatest achievement to be his family and values maintaining a strong balance between work and home life.
