SUMMARY:Construction Architecture Building Evening Experience
DESCRIPTION:We created Construction Architecture Building (CAB) because these industries are the backbone of the Australian economy. Success in building depends on collaboration\, trust\, and strong relationships — one weak link can multiply challenges\, but the right connections make everything run more smoothly.\nToo often\, industry events stay within silos. Electricians with electricians\, builders with builders\, surveyors with surveyors. At CAB\, we break those walls down. We believe the more you understand the people who work before and after you in the process\, the better the outcome for everyone.\nOur purpose is to connect you across the sector so you can build lifelong relationships\, find people you trust\, and improve the way projects are delivered.\nIn an industry where careers often span a lifetime\, investing in the right relationships isn’t just valuable — it’s essential. That’s what CAB is here to help you do.

SUMMARY:Uncommon Local - Yarra Day Experience
DESCRIPTION:We created Uncommon Experiences because we dislike networking but love connecting. Talking to interesting people who are interested in us. If we couldn’t find this\, then others must be having the same issue. We eliminated everything people dislike about conventional networking to make an intimate\, highly curated\, invitation-only experience and community. Complete with a connection framework designed to accelerate the building of relationships and mutual understanding without being “sold to.” This is Un-Networking. \nIt’s Common Sense\, yet almost every other networking event doesn’t understand the audience attending. Who they are as a person or what’s most important to them. People want to work with those that they like\, and to like someone\, you must know them. The stronger the relationship\, the more connected you are. The more connected you become\, the longer business relations will last. We understand you are more than what you do\, and celebrate and showcase this. We don’t guarantee leads; we enhance relationships. We remove the uncertainty around who you should be introduced to and why. We eliminate superficial small-talk like “So what do you do?” to go beyond the mundane talk about COVID\, sports\, or house prices. We focus on ensuring everyone quickly builds deep connections and high levels of trust. You will not be met with hundreds of business cards thrown at you or a room of people selling\, and no one listening. We call this Business Relations (BR). We are told we are different. We like to think everyone should receive this level of respect. \nOur promise is that at each Uncommon Experience you attend\, you will leave us more inspired\, energised\, connected\, and motivated than when you walked in. When was the last event you attended that offered this kind of promise? \nWho attends these experiences?\nThis lunch is for experts\, leaders\, thinkers and strategists from Yarra who want to: \n\nStay up to date with industry trends and innovation\nConnect and collaborate with the best minds in Victoria\nLive in and around the Yarra Valley\nLearn how to deal with suppliers\, internal management and customers in such a demanding role\nEngage with like-minded and unlike-minded individuals

SUMMARY:UNMASTERY: The One Behavioural Shift That Makes You and Your Business Futures-Fit in an Increasingly Split World by Neville Christie
DESCRIPTION:“Many of the habits you have relied on were optimised for certainty and steady growth. They are now being stress-tested by disruption and uncertainty.  And are found wanting.” \nMASTERY COMPARED TO UNMASTERY \nMastery Sessions are about optimisation. Getting much better at who you already are\, and what you already do.  More of the same. But better. \nThis session is about UnMastery.  UnMastery is the meta-skill of consciously retiring ways of thinking\, acting\, or operating. That once worked very well. But no longer fit your world\, as it is now. \nWHY ATTEND? \nThe behavioural data is clear.  We have entered a period where\, around the world\, individuals with similar intelligence\, experience\, and resources are.  We are getting very different outcomes. \nSome individuals and SMEs feel energised\, adaptive\, and strategically alive. At the same time\, others feel reactive\, overloaded\, and increasingly stuck. \nThe difference is not effort or knowledge.  It is behavioural alignment\, or misalignment\, with our world as it now is. [The iz-ness factors!]. Rather than how it has been.  [The waz-ness factors!] \nThis session is for Uncommon-ers. Who sense that aspects of what once made you successful… Is it now slowing you down? Or worse.  Doing you wrong!  So\, you seek a practical way to adapt. And even transform. Without burning everything down. \nWHAT WILL YOU DISCOVER? \nYou will discover how to identify and consciously retire at least one of your outdated “success patterns.”   A pattern that no longer fits your current environment.  And how you replace it with futures-fit ways of thinking and operating. \nDuring this UnMastery Class\, you will be asked questions and given examples that actively work you through a guided process.  And you will have pauses to reflect – even if you’re driving.  Or to type or scribble if you are at a desk. \nWHAT ARE THE BENEFITS YOU WILL GAIN? \n·       Greater clarity about what to stop doing.  And what now to do. \n·       Reduced friction\, overthinking\, and energy drain \n·       A practical way to respond to rapid change without panic or denial \n·       Increased confidence in navigating uncertainty \n·       A clearer sense of personal agency in a shifting world \nWHAT WILL YOU WALK AWAY WITH? \nBy the end of this UnMastery session\, you will have: \n·       Identified one personal or professional behaviour that no longer serves you well \n·       Clearly articulated why it worked before. And why it no longer does \n·       Defined a new\, futures-fit operating identity to test immediately \n·       Chosen one concrete behaviour to stop\, one to start\, and one to strengthen in the next 7 days. \nChoose one \nThere are seven key areas from which to choose your first un-mastery adventure. Each of these aids you in becoming futures-fit.  Or keep you locked in what is increasingly becoming a dead-end: \n1.     Your values\, belief systems and life credo \n2.     The psychological models you adhere to\, of who you are – your identity – and who you have the potential to become \n3.     The past\, present\, futures and gap stories you tell yourself and others \n4.     Your intimate relationship with money and all other 16+ forms of wealth \n5.     The nature\, vitality\, and purposes of your Dream Team\, tribe\, and community \n6.     The rules and key imperatives you follow to be in\, and stay in\, business \n7.     Your processes and tools\, for unlearning\, rejigging\, and relearning. \nHOW WILL YOU FEEL AFTER (THE 1%-ER)? \n·       Grounded rather than overwhelmed. \n·       Clear rather than reactive. \n·       Calm\, focused\, and quietly confident that you are adapting intentionally. Not accidentally. \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND? AND WHY? \nThis UnMastery session is for: \n·       Business owners\, leaders\, and professionals navigating rapid\, ongoing disruption \n·       You if you feel capable but sense growing friction\, fatigue\, or even ‘hopelessness’ \n·       You\, if you want practical adaptation tools\, not motivation\, or hype \n·       You\, if you know your and our futures will be different.  And want to meet and shape these futures consciously. \nABOUT THE PRESENTER: NEVILLE CHRISTIE \n \nNotorious \nOne of the first foundation members of Uncommon.  At 84\, Neville D. Christie is officially the co-founder of STEEP Renaissance Pty Ltd.  His latest global\, shared adventure.  And our youngest older member. \nNotorious for many things.  Most visibly his outrageous shirts and tops.  For declaring\, he intends to live vitally until 103. Leave specially.  And for using this annoying\, truncated form of language.  Science says changes perceptions. \nHis core life and business theme.  Is simple: Holistic Aliveness. \nPrecocious entrepreneur \nAt age 12. While still full-time at school. After unexpectedly becoming the head of the household. Neville founded his first three micro-businesses. Soon\, he was earning 5-7 times the basic wage. \nBorn with the so-called restless gene (DRD4-7R).  Which scientists are associated with novelty-seeking\, risk tolerance\, and exploratory behaviour? And a healthy impatience with the status quo.  Neville has reinvented himself roughly every three years ever since. Including right now. Today. \nLearning from Merlin \nAt a very early age.  Perhaps four or five.  Neville intuitively stepped into the Merlin archetype.  The shape-changer. The mentor to kings\, leaders\, and knights – and days!. The mystic. The multiple-persona traveller between worlds. \nFrom that moment on. His life has unfolded. As a series of deliberate transformations. \nAcross these many chapters\, Neville’s lived roles have included: \n·       Serial innovator and entrepreneur. Futurist. CEO. Company chairman and director of private and public companies. \n·       Third-World aid volunteer and executive. Musician and conductor. Urban shaman. Depth psychologist. Author. Publisher. Venture capitalist and venture manager. \n·       Personal and business mentor. Psychotherapist. Explorer of inner and outer worlds. Documenter of what works and transforms. \nCreating and building \nThrough his many twists\, turns\, failures\, wounds\, breakthroughs\, and reinventions\, Neville has accumulated an unusually large body of transformative wisdom.  And intellectual property. Practical. Psychological. Strategic. Deeply human.  And strikingly appropriate to us all right now.  As we act to become Futures Fit. \nHis life legacy is now clear. \nOver the next ten years\, starting now. Neville commits to sharing this body of work. Through: Platforms. Products. Processes. Programs. Person-to-person encounters.  Not alone. But with apprentices\, partners\, colleagues\, tribes\, peers\, existing SMEs\, corporations\, and communities. \nAnd\, especially through joint ventures. Structured so that others ultimately gain and retain 100% equity and ownership. \nCore focus \nNeville’s focus\, now\, is on enlivening and rejigging the STEEP Renaissance\, emerging at the big end of town.  Making it more shared and equitable. And\, on 15 ‘gold collar’ industries\, evolving upwards.  To create a new meta-industry:  Transformation as a Service [TaaS]. \nFor Neville\, legacy is about the whole person\, whole system transmission. About staying fully\, mischievously\, vitally alive.  And super wealthy – in 14 different dimensions – including monetary. \nMaking it happen \nFollowing Patrick Stewart\, who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation\, Neville adopts his catchphrase: “Make it so.”

SUMMARY:Uncommon Local - Mornington Day Experience
DESCRIPTION:It’s Common Sense to connect with amazing people\, and we created Uncommon Mornington to bring the people we know who live on the Mornington Peninsula to connect and truly get to know one another. An extension of our experiences that is a little more relaxed as an added benefit for our members to further build stronger relationships with each other and their friends and contacts who live on the coast \nIt’s great to meet wonderful people and find interesting and unique restaurants\, wineries and hidden establishments while continuing to build strong relationships with people who have also decided that living where they are is amazing. We are always looking for fantastic suggestions and family favourites to add to the list. \nThis booking is so that we know who is coming\, as we have grown\, it has become harder to book a place without the numbers. You will still purchase the meal you wish and pay for your own alcohol \nWe have another group for people who reside on the Mornington Peninsula and who like to play golf. They usually tee off in the morning\, do 9 holes ruin a perfectly good walk\, then come and join us for lunch. We intend to have four different groups around Melbourne and bring them together once a year for a Golf Competition. If you are interested\, please reach out.

SUMMARY:Uncommon Masterclass with Philippe Guichard
DESCRIPTION:You don’t need a lab\, a budget\, or a creative genius on your team.Innovation lives in what you already see every day and in thequestions you’ve stopped asking. In 40 minutes\, you’ll walk away withfive practical tools to start innovating from wherever you stand rightnow. \nWHY ATTEND\n\n\nBecause most entrepreneurs are sitting on untapped innovation — and don’t know it. The opportunity is already in your product\, your customers\, your team. \n\n\nBecause innovation has been made unnecessarily complicated\, expensive\, and exclusive — reserved for specialists\, labs\, and big budgets. It doesn’t have to be. \n\n\nBecause the tools that actually work are lean\, fast\, and can be used by any founder today — without hiring a team or running a costly experiment. \n\n\nWHAT WE WILL SHOW YOU\n\n\nFive concrete innovation tools drawn from 33+ years of hands-on work with entrepreneurs and physical product companies — tools you can deploy immediately\, without a team. \n\n\nReal case studies: from a lobster-shaped paintbrush holder to a revolutionary aquarium tank — showing how simple shifts in perspective create market differentiation. \n\n\nLive exercises with the audience: observing friction\, reframing product questions\, mapping overlooked stakeholders — done together\, in real time. \n\n\nWHAT ARE THE BENEFITS\n\n\nYou stop waiting for “the right time” or “the right budget” to innovate — and start seeing opportunities in your existing business today. \n\n\nYou learn to see what your customers experience — including the friction and frustration they never tell you about — through direct\, unfiltered observation. \n\n\nYou discover that the most powerful innovations often come from asking a better question\, not building a better product. \n\n\nWHAT WILL YOU WALK AWAY WITH\n\n\nA practical innovation toolkit of five immediately usable methods: Customer Observation Technique\, Semantics\, The Question\, Stakeholder Mapping\, and Proportions. \n\n\nA new lens on your own product or service — with at least one concrete innovation angle identified during the session itself. \n\n\nThe habit of asking “what is the question this product is answering — and is that still the right question?” A deceptively simple practice that unlocks real competitive advantage. \n\n\nHOW WILL YOU FEEL AFTER (THE 1%ER)\n\n\nLiberated. Innovation stops being something that happens to other companies — and starts being something you do\, quietly and consistently\, every week. \n\n\nCurious in a new way. You’ll leave the session looking at the world differently — every product you encounter becomes a source of ideas. The barista\, the packaging\, the airport trolley. \n\n\nConfident. Not because innovation is now easy — but because you now know it’s yours to do. You have the tools. You have the method. You just have to decide. \n\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND\n\n\nEntrepreneurs and founders who feel their product or service has plateaued — and are looking for a fresh angle without the cost of a rebrand or product overhaul. \n\n\nBusiness owners who’ve been told “you need to innovate” but have no practical framework to act on that advice. This session gives them one — five\, actually. \n\n\nTeam leaders and managers who want to build an innovation mindset in their organisation — without creating a separate “innovation team” or running expensive offsites. \n\n\nABOUT THE PRESENTER: PHILIPPE GUICHARD\nPhilippe Guichard is an award-winning industrial designer\, business strategist\, and founder of D2 design. With over 30 years’ experience\, he helps serial entrepreneurs transform product ideas into scalable ventures—by aligning design\, market-fit\, and business models from day one. His unique “Elegance Effect” methodology has led to the launch of numerous multi-million-dollar products across industries. Philippe speaks on design-led innovation\, strategic product development\, and the power of building with purpose—for people\, profit\, and the planet. He brings clarity\, momentum\, and practical insight to founders ready to move from idea to impact.

DESCRIPTION:We created Uncommon Experiences because we dislike networking but love connecting. Talking to interesting people who are interested in us. If we couldn’t find this\, then others must be having the same issue. \nOur Men’s Only Group ( OMSB… If you know you know) is a welcoming space designed to foster genuine relationships beyond the workplace. By stepping away from work talk\, we create room for deeper understanding and authentic connection. It’s an opportunity to share stories\, support one another\, and strengthen bonds in a relaxed and respectful setting. \nWe remove the uncertainty around who you should be introduced to and why.\nWe eliminate superficial small talk like “So\, what do you do?” to go beyond the mundane talk about sports or house prices.

SUMMARY:Uncommon Local – Mornington Day Experience
\nGot Questions? \nPlease contact \nMatt Murray – commonsense@uncommonexperiences.com.au | 0419 432 062 \nYani – community@uncommonexperiences.com.au |038 323 0340 \n

SUMMARY:When Growth Stops Responding to Effort by Ash Khalek
DESCRIPTION:The Upfront Cost of Ambition \nMost growing businesses eventually reach a point where progress stalls despite continued effort. \nThe team is working hard. Ambition is still strong. But the usual responses stop producing results. \nIn this masterclass\, Ash Khalek explains why these moments occur and how organisations often postpone the decisions required to move from one stage of growth to the next. \nWhy Attend\n\n\nMany growth slowdowns are misdiagnosed as effort problems when the actual constraint is elsewhere entirely. \n\n\nExperienced leaders often sense that something in the organisation needs to change but cannot yet clearly identify what it is. \n\n\nRecognising these moments early can prevent months\, sometimes years\, of pushing harder against the wrong problem. \n\n\nThe decisions that repeatedly stall growing businesses become surprisingly recognisable once you know what to look for. \n\n\nWhat We Will Show You\nUsing real case examples from growing organisations\, Ash will walk through three moments where growth no longer responds to effort. \n\n\nOperator → Architect \n\n\nWhen the role that built the business starts to limit it\, the owner must move from doing the work to designing the system. \n\n\nPeople Ceiling \n\n\nWhen loyalty to the people who built the first stage of the business quietly becomes the ceiling for the next. \n\n\nAuthority Confusion \n\n\nWhen equity and decision‑making rights become unclear within leadership teams\, the business struggles to progress. \nParticipants will then complete a brief self‑diagnosis reflection to identify which of these moments their own organisation may already be approaching. \nWhat Are the Benefits of Attending\n\n\nRecognise when a growth challenge goes beyond just execution. \n\n\nIdentify the underlying constraint likely holding back your next stage. \n\n\nUnderstand the leadership decisions that growth eventually forces. \n\n\nLeave with a practical lens you can apply to your business immediately. \n\n\nWhat Will You Walk Away With\n\n\nA practical lens for recognising three moments where growth stalls. \n\n\nClarity on which of those moments your business may already be approaching. \n\n\nOne question worth asking inside your leadership team immediately. \n\n\nHow Will You Feel After (The 1%er)\nFeeling relieved: the tensions you’ve been experiencing are normal\, not signs of failure. \nClearer:  you will be able to identify something that has been hard to express. \nReady: because once you see the decision\, you can face it. \nWho Should Attend\n\n\nBusiness owners managing growth and organisational change. \n\n\nSenior leaders whose roles are evolving as the business grows. \n\n\nAdvisors and operators collaborating closely with scaling businesses. \n\n\nIf your business is working harder but growth is beginning to slow\, this masterclass will help you understand why. \nAbout the Speaker\nAsh Khalek spent 15 years building and managing his own service business before turning his attention to helping other owners overcome similar growth barriers. \nToday\, he works with B2B service businesses to rethink how their model develops so that revenue\, personal returns\, and long-term value grow together.

SUMMARY:The Abundance Evening Experience
DESCRIPTION:We crave connection and growth. To find it we often turn to networking organisations – all of them characterised by shallow conversations\, transactional relationships\, and the anxiety of impressing others. Lacking trust and accountability. \nThe secret to success in life and business is learning how to connect and form relationships with other people. \nHow can deep relationships be formed based on mutual trust and accountability? How do you rediscover intimate business relationships with depth and meaning? \nThe answer isn’t another app\, networking organisation or course. The answer lies in deep peer-based relationships that start with an abundance mindset at their foundation. \nBy building a space and a framework for giving we build greater trust\, collaboration and abundance in our lives. \n3 reasons why this works:\n• 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲: Give before you ask.\n• 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: Build trust and collaboration.\n• 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Create a space for giving. \n𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞\nNetworks are a vehicle for creating value for everyone\, not just claiming it for ourselves.\nIn traditional old-school reciprocity\, people traded value back and forth by only helping the people who helped them and giving to the people from whom they wanted something in return. To spark a more powerful form of reciprocity instead of trading value\, the aim is to add value. \nThe simple rule of attendance: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫:\nYou must be willing to do something that will take you five minutes or less for anybody in the room. \nThis increases results by opening the door for you and others to gain benefits from people they’ve never helped— or even met. By creating a norm of adding value\, you transform giving from a zero-sum loss to a win-win gain. \n𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞\nThe key benefits of participating in an abundance circle are:\n• Real problems are solved\n• Increase of knowledge\n• Achieve your goals\n• High-quality connections\n• Career boost\n• Happiness and Health\n• Trust building\n• Reputation increase \n𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬:\n• What you know (your knowledge)\n• What you can do (your skills)\n• Whom you know (your network)\n• What you have (your resources) \nBy developing a strong network\, people gain invaluable access to private information\, diverse skills\, expertise\, and influence. \nPeople go unappreciated because they give everything away for free to the wrong people. By surrounding yourself with other abundant people you allow the reciprocity to return to the group. \n𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏\, 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆. \nCome join in the abundance circle and experience the power of reciprocity. \nBook your ticket now.

SUMMARY:Uncommon Local - West Day Experience
DESCRIPTION:It’s Common Sense to connect with amazing people\, and we created How the West was Won First Friday to bring the people we know who live in the West to connect and truly get to know one another. An extension that is a little more relaxed as an added benefit for our members to further build stronger relationships with each other and their friends and contacts who live in the West. \nI moved to the West a few months before COVID and knew no one. It was lonely and a long way to visit or meet in the CBD. Its great to meet wonderful people and find interesting and unique restaurants\, wineries and hidden establishments while continuing to build strong relationships with people that have also decided that the West is Best. We are always looking for fantastic suggestions and family favourites to add to the list. \nThis Booking is so that we know who is coming\, as we have grown\, it has become harder to book a place. You will still purchase the meal you wish and pay for your alcohol \nWe also have a Golf Group that tees off and completes 9 holes before joining us for lunch. If you are interested in ruining a good walk\, happy to introduce you. They play Ambrose at the amazing golf courses we have around the West. We have another group for people who reside on the Mornington Peninsula. We intend to have four different groups around Melbourne and bring them together once a year for a Golf Competition. \nWe created Uncommon Experiences because we dislike networking but love connecting. Talking to interesting people who are interested in us. If we couldn’t find this\, then others must be having the same issue. \nWe eliminated everything people dislike about conventional networking to make an intimate\, highly curated\, invitation-only experience and community. Complete with a connection framework designed to accelerate the building of relationships and mutual understanding without being “sold to.” This is Un-Networking. \nGot Questions? \nPlease contact \nMatt Murray – commonsense@uncommonexperiences.com.au | 0419 432 062 \nYani – community@uncommonexperiences.com.au | 038 323 0340

SUMMARY:Scaling too fast is killing your business by Dejan Dobric
DESCRIPTION:How to Grow Without Breaking Profit\, People\, or Performance.\nGrowth is addictive. \nMore revenue. More clients. More hires. More opportunity. \nBut what most founders don’t realise is that growth magnifies everything: inefficiencies\, weak leadership\, poor systems\, fragile cash flow\, unclear roles. \nScaling too quickly doesn’t just stretch a business; it exposes it. \nIn this masterclass\, you’ll learn how to distinguish between growth and scalable growth\, how to identify structural fragility before it becomes a crisis\, and how to build a business that expands with strength instead of stress. \nBecause the goal isn’t to grow fast. \nThe goal is to grow well. \nWHY ATTEND?\n• Because revenue growth can quietly destroy profitability. Many businesses experience top-line growth while margins shrink\, overhead balloons\, and cash flow tightens. You’ll understand why scaling often increases pressure instead of wealth and how to prevent it. \n• Because operational strain shows up late.Hiring too quickly\, onboarding poorly\, over-promising to clients\, and building reactive systems create cracks that don’t show immediately but compound rapidly. Learn how to spot early warning indicators. \n• Because leadership must evolve before the business does. What got you to $1M won’t get you to $10M. Scaling demands a different mindset\, structure\, and decision-making cadence. You’ll learn the shifts required to lead at the next level. \n• Because sustainable scale is strategic\, not emotional.Excitement and opportunity create urgency. Strategic founders create pacing. You’ll understand the difference. \nWHAT WE WILL SHOW YOU ?\n• The 5 Breaking Points of Rapid Scale \n\n\nCashflow compression \n\n\nCultural dilution \n\n\nDelivery inconsistency \n\n\nLeadership bottlenecks \n\n\nSystems overload \n\n\nWe’ll break down how each one forms\, how it compounds\, and how to reinforce it before it fractures. \n• The Scale Readiness FrameworkA structured way to assess whether your business has the operational capacity\, financial buffer\, leadership maturity\, and systems infrastructure to handle accelerated growth. \n• Capacity Before Demand ModelHow to build people\, processes\, financial reserves\, and reporting structures ahead of growth so expansion feels controlled instead of chaotic. \n• The Sequencing Principle of ScaleWhat to build first. What to delay. What to automate. What to delegate. \nMost founders get the order wrong and pay for it. \nWHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?\n• Protected Margins During GrowthScale without eroding profitability by understanding cost layering and operational leverage. \n• Stronger Internal Culture and RetentionAvoid the common “growth hangover” where rapid hiring damages culture\, communication\, and accountability. \n• Reduced Founder DependencyMove from operator to architect\, build leadership layers that remove bottlenecks and reduce burnout. \n• Increased Business ValuationStructured growth builds enterprise value. Chaotic growth reduces it. Learn how scale impacts exit potential. \nWHAT WILL YOU WALK AWAY WITH?\n(THIS MAY NEED SOME WORK BEFORE BEING FINALISED)* \n• A Scale Stress Test Tool to assess your current expansion risk. \n• A 90-Day Stabilisation Blueprint if you are already scaling too quickly. \n• A 12-Month Structured Growth Roadmap aligned with capacity\, capital\, and leadership readiness. \n• Clear metrics to monitor so growth doesn’t blindside your profitability or culture. \n• A decision-making filter:“Should we grow right now or strengthen first?” \nHOW WILL YOU FEEL AFTER? (The 1%er Shift)\n• Composed instead of reactive. You’ll understand what’s actually happening beneath your growth. \n• Strategic instead of emotional. You’ll move from chasing revenue to building enterprise strength. \n• Confident making high-stakes decisions.Hiring. Expanding. Investing. Launching. Raising capital. \n• Like a true operator\, not just a founder. The top 1% of business leaders don’t just grow\, they control growth. \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND AND WHY?\n• Founders in rapid revenue growth stages ($1M–$20M)Because this is the most fragile scaling window. \n• CEOs\, COOs\, and operational leadersResponsible for execution\, systems\, and performance under pressure. \n• Investors and board membersWho want risk-managed expansion\, not ego-driven scaling. \n• Ambitious entrepreneurs preparing for aggressive growthBecause prevention is far cheaper than repair. \nAbout the presenter: Dejan Dobric \nDejan is a highly driven executive leader who believes that hard work\, patience and genuine care for others are the true foundations of success. His leadership journey has seen him guide multiple businesses with a focus not just on growth\, but on creating meaningful impact. \nWith an MBA from Griffith University\, Dejan applies strong principles of leadership\, management and strategy across his work. While he feels most at home in the healthcare industry\, his approach to business is universal\, combining commercial acumen with deep care for people and relationships. \nHe is passionate about improving lives through thoughtful\, high-quality operations that drive both internal and external growth. Highly results-driven and adaptive to change\, Dejan understands the importance of strong networks and surrounding yourself with like-minded people who want to make a difference. \nHaving overcome a challenging upbringing\, Dejan credits his resilience and mindset for much of his success. He firmly believes that the world rewards those who help others and that if you want something\, you must be willing to fight for it. \nAs a leader\, his greatest satisfaction comes from building teams that share the same values and commitment to service. His philosophy is simple yet powerful: if you do not go home at the end of the day feeling accomplished that you have made a difference\, then why do what you do?
