Mark Watt is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential through meaningful relationships, opportunities, and support. With more than 30 years of experience working across Australia’s youth sector, including establishing Whitelion and contributing to Youth Justice initiatives, Mark has dedicated his career to creating positive pathways for young people facing disadvantage.
Through his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters Australia, Mark continues to collaborate with communities, organisations, and mentors to create life-changing connections that support and empower Australia’s youth. He believes strongly that when people come together with the right intent, a real and lasting impact is possible.
Outside of his professional work, Mark is an avid traveller who enjoys music and sport, and he is a proud dog owner. Inspired by Iron Man, he is driven by the idea of using innovation and leadership to create positive change. One of his long-term aspirations is to build a social enterprise that makes a meaningful difference in the world. Above all, he is deeply grateful for his supportive family, who continue to encourage and motivate him.
