Refund Policy

Please remember that cancelling is not just affecting you but the people you are meant to be seated next to. People are told they are sitting next to you, they prepare, research and look forward to it when you cancel we need to move the table to accommodate if we don’t have a replacement meaning other people are also affected.

All events are fully paid for in advance and we don’t get refunded from the restaurant.

1. Members:

Members who provide notice of cancellation will be eligible for a refund, except in the following cases:

  • if notice is provided on the day of the event or less than 2 days prior to the event, no refund will be issued. However, you can find a replacement to attend in your place. We will attempt to sell your ticket, and once it is sold, you can receive a refund.

2. Multiple-Time Attendee or First-Time Attendee:

Refunds and Transfer Options:

  • If notice is provided more than 14 days prior to the event:

You can choose to receive a refund, transfer your ticket to another event, or keep it as ticket credit for future use.

  • If notice is provided less than 7 days prior to the event:

No refund will be issued, but you can transfer your ticket to another event or keep it as ticket credit for future use. You also can find someone to attend in your place. We will attempt to sell your ticket, and once it is sold, you can receive a refund.

  • If notice is provided less than 3 days prior to the event:

No refund will be issued. You can find a replacement to attend in your place. If no replacement is found, the ticket will be forfeited.

We will attempt to sell your ticket, and once sold, you can receive a credit for another event.

  • If notice is provided less than 2 days or on the day of the event:

No refund will be issued. You must find a replacement, or else the ticket will be forfeited. We will attempt to sell your ticket, and once sold, you can receive a credit for another event.

Procedure for Refund and Ticket Transfer:

  • To request refunds or ticket transfers, please contact Yani at community@uncommonexperiences.com.au or call (03) 8323-0340.

  • Our team will verify the eligibility of your request based on the provided notice period.

  • If a refund is approved, the refund amount will be processed immediately, and you'll receive it within 7 business days through the original payment method.

  • If you choose to transfer the ticket to another event, please inform Yani or Wilma of your preferred event, and we'll process the transfer.

  • If you opt to keep the ticket as credit, we will keep you updated on our upcoming events that you might be interested in.

  • Attendees finding replacements must inform the team of the replacement's details - their name, email, mobile number and any dietary restrictions ASAP.

At all times this is a do what we can process. You have purchased a ticket that we have paid the event for. Any refund is additional work and cost. We don’t have to refund or assist we do this because we want to give you the best experience. At any time we can keep the money it’s our decision that these guidelines are followed to reimburse you and we will do our best based on your help, support and honesty. You have canceled on us and we still have to pay.
