Alan Gill is the Co-Founder of Choice Energy, a business he launched in 2013 with Christopher Dean to help organisations take control of their energy costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
Since then, Choice Energy has supported more than 12,000 businesses across Australia and New Zealand to stay competitive by dramatically reducing their electricity and gas expenditure. The company works with a range of well-known brands and associations, including AUSVEG VIC and SA, Independent Hardware Group, Replas, Capricorn Automotive, Powershop and Mastercard. Alan also contributes to the Energy Charter’s National Customer Code for Energy Brokers and Retailers.
At heart, Alan is someone who enjoys helping others achieve more. Known for simplifying complex challenges, he works closely with industry groups and business leaders to find smarter ways to manage energy and improve long-term performance.
Originally from the UK, Alan first came to Australia teaching tourists how to scuba dive. Today he’s a family man with two young kids who enjoys rugby union, a good coffee and a well-timed joke — often quoting lines from The Office (UK) along the way.
